More about the specific role:
A main way that our clinic partners interact with Scratchpay is through our online clinic dashboard. This dashboard shows payment plans that have been approved, allows clinics to finalize these plans in real-time, and keeps a log of finalized payment plans.
We are looking for a leader that can empathize with our clinic users through analyzing various data sources and conducting product feedback interviews, develop dashboard feature improvement hypotheses and test plans for these proposed improvements, prioritize these features using basic business analysis, and partner with our Technology & Product teams to scope out realistic plans to run MVP tests and ultimately roll out successful features.
Successfully improving the dashboard’s ease-of-use and utility for our clinic partners are incredibly important parts of helping Scratchpay grow to help more pets receive care.
While the dashboard is our main clinic-facing product today, we are also looking for the APM to manage improvements to our Clinic Relationship Management database product by working with our external vendor provider. In the future, this role may also include similar management of a training and marketing portal or a separate dashboard for our larger multi-site partners.
Some qualifications include:
1 - 3 years of product management experience or similar role in an analytically rigorous environment
Strong verbal / written communication skills, with a penchant for technical writing (to communicate with our Product and Technical teams)
Thoroughness in developing “happy” and “unhappy” paths for a proposed feature change - we are looking for someone that can document and understand not just the happy path, but feel comfortable documenting and understanding the multiple unhappy paths
Business case analysis - you should have a basic knowledge of profitability, ROI, and know how to apply each of these concepts to build impactful analyses for each feature proposal.
Project management - to be successful in the APM role, it will require some project management (timeline scoping, documentation, and email follow-through). Some product management roles do not require any project management, however this role will.
Bonus qualifications: experience in veterinary / animal health, UX development, or FinTech
