More about the specific role:
Scratchpay partners with veterinary clinics across the United States and with the goal of providing pet owners simple, friendly payment plans. The primary focus of a Sales Associate is to acquire veterinary clinics by teaching them about the platform & influencing them to sign up and become a Scratchpay partner.
As a Scratchpay Sales Associate, you will manage a few of our designated acquisition channels (ranges from ER and specialty clinics to equine and general practices). These acquisition channels will require you to utilize outbound calls and emails to pursue sign-ups, while updating leads in our CRM software. Also, you’ll answer questions from clinics who have contacted us via our inbound channels and have expressed interest in offering Scratchpay.
This position is based in Pasadena, CA, and applicants in California will be eligible for work-remote if desired. 
Some qualifications include:
1 - 2 years of outbound sales, account management or client-servicing experience
Strong verbal / written communication skills - We’re looking for someone with the ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high-level decision makers but can communicate equally as effective via email. 
Strong time management and follow up skills
Independent/Self-Motivated - We’re looking for someone that completes their own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures but knows when to seek intervention from his/her manager.
Eagerness to learn - continually seeking to improve sales skills
Bonus qualifications: experience in veterinary / animal health or Financial services.
