About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter who is excited to be part of our early story and help us build a diverse and vibrant tech culture at Pawp. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and managing the entire lifecycle of recruiting talent. You will focus on hiring engineers with a broad set of technical skills, who are highly cross-functional, and eager to solve a wide range of engineering challenges. As an early employee, you'll be working with a nimble team committed to shaping Pawp's organization and engineering culture.

What You'll do

  • Manage inbound and third-party recruiter candidates from end-to-end
  • Set up all of our recruiting processes and pipelines
  • Work closely with our technical leads in planning hiring needs
  • Work with various third-party recruiters and partners to meet our hiring goals

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Track record of hiring and growing organizationals
  • Ability to set up recruiting best practices
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft
  • Alignment with Pawp's core values of providing pets the best care possible

Nice to Haves

  • Direct experience as a first recruiter or startup recruiter during a growth phase
  • BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience
  • Deep background in engineering specific hiring for health care and/or marketplaces
  • Passion for pets
